Job summary

Dove Recovery in Dublin, OH welcomes a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients and staff across housing and clinical tasks. The role blends recovery housing duties with clinical support, coordinating care with housing and clinical teams, and documenting services in line with Medicaid and organizational policies.

The position requires dedication to safety, adherence to policies, and the ability to manage caseloads while providing empathetic, non-judgmental care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of CRS training or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required or able to obtain.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients during treatment programming, including peer support and transportation.
• Monitor client progress and report behavioral changes to the treatment team.
• Coordinate and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support goals and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure client safety by enforcing center policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate client records in line with standards.
• Conduct drug screenings and monitor for substance use.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Offer case management to support engagement, retention, and participation.
• Assist clients in understanding program expectations and documentation platforms.
