Job summary

Rosecrance Health Network seeks a dedicated residential supervisor to oversee residents in a secure, supportive setting in Rockford, IL. You will supervise daily activities, facilitate therapeutic sessions, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health records system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with 12-steps, and strong behavioral management skills. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with shift-based work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with 12-steps highly desirable.
• Skilled in adult behavioral management techniques.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records.
• Ability to complete required documentation within time frames.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise residents and provide a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Implement behavioral interventions and manage resident behavior.
• Develop and present resident education.
• Assist in planning menus with residents and shopping for household items.
• Supervise daily activities (house chores, study halls, meals, etc.).
• Consult with staff to plan daily treatment direction for shifts.
• Facilitate group discussions and attend staff meetings as designated.
• Maintain client service records in compliance with rules and regulations.
• Monitor self-administration of medicine when designated; document in medical log.
