Job summary

Liberty Community Programs seeks a Group Facilitator to plan and lead therapeutic psychoeducational and recovery groups for adults in an ASAM Level 3.5 residential program. The role emphasizes a positive therapeutic climate and skill-building for long-term recovery, without providing individual therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed.
• Strong communication and group facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with documentation and basic computer use.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduled psychoeducational and recovery groups.
• Prepare lesson plans and group materials.
• Encourage participation and maintain a safe, respectful group environment.
• Complete group documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident participation and communicate concerns to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with counselors, case managers, nursing, and leadership.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and clinical team discussions.
• Support trauma-informed, person-centered treatment and discharge planning as assigned.
