Stars Behavioral Health Group is hiring a Recovery Counselor in Orange, CA. The role supports adults in crisis within a short-term residential program, delivering direct care and facilitating activities to promote recovery. The position follows a Tue–Sat schedule (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of 15 semester units in psychology or related behavioral sciences.
• Six months of full-time experience in mental health, healthcare, or social services.
• Valid California Driver’s License with an eligible driving record (Class B preferred).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to meet clients' physical and psychosocial needs under supervision.
• Encourage self-help skills and socialization; support group activities.
• Transport clients in facility vehicles as directed by supervisor.
• Lead large and small activity groups and outings under supervision.
