Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Recovery Coordinator II to perform general warehouse duties and ensure quality control across receiving, outbound and storage areas. You will audit shipping lanes, document discrepancies, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Responsibilities include logging vendor non-compliance, investigating variances, and creating vendor chargebacks while coordinating with salvage vendors and Home Office for freight

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Verify 100% quality control checks in receiving locations on high shrink and breakdown merchandise.
• Verify 100% quality control checks on outbound, laydown, storage and cigarette merchandise, with audits conducted in picking locations.
• Ensure all club shipping lanes are audited and merchandise accounted for prior to manifesting club load.
• Investigate discrepancies, document and log errors; document and photograph vendor non-compliance per routing/packaging guide.
• Research and resolve overages, shortages, and damages on inbound receipts timely.
• Create systemic Vendor Charge Backs for merchandise returns, salvaged or destroyed.
• Verify freight claims are faxed to Home Office Financial Control promptly.
• Isolate and document freight to be salvaged and coordinate with salvage vendor for pickup/pay.
