Job summary

Monte Nido Miami in South Miami, FL is a residential program for adults with eating disorders seeking treatment. We are looking for a Part-time Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team and support clients through their recovery journey within the structured milieu.

Responsibilities include assisting meals, modeling healthy routines, facilitating group activities, and providing compassionate, client-centered intervention aligned with each treatment plan.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a mental/behavioral health setting desired.
• Valid state driver’s license with safe driving history.
• Strong communication, client relations, flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist and integrate clients through their recovery journey.
• Provide support aligned with the treatment plan and interventions.
• Engage clients in healthy connections with peers and staff.
• Assist in food prep and model client meals and snacks.
• Support exposure to groups and development of core clinical skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations; occasional off-site transport.

Monte Nido located in South Miami, FL is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’streatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a Part-time Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team.

Availability needed for Day shift 8am-8:15pm and Overnight shift 7:45pm-8:45am

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• We require strong communication and client relations skills, service orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
