Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Coach for its Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) division in Malden, MA.

The role focuses on helping adults with mental health and substance use challenges regain autonomy and personal recovery through a collaborative, person-centered approach. The position emphasizes ongoing education, advocacy, and support within a multidisciplinary team, with a standard Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule and an hourly rate of $22.77.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with substance use disorders.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing autonomy, self-advocacy skills, and personal recovery methods for mental health and substance use.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure client perspectives, preferences, and choices are consistently recognized and integrated into care.
• Provide guidance, advocacy, and education throughout the recovery process, from orientation through ongoing service delivery.
• Promote hope and empowerment through regular support, recovery-focused meetings, and strengths-based engagement; participate in person-centered treatment plans and assist clients in identifying and communicating their recovery goals.

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coach to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) division. Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving the lives of adults with mental health challenges and possess the interpersonal skills needed to build meaningful relationships with both the individuals we serve and members of the ACCS team.
