Job summary

Monte Nido Miami is seeking a Recovery Coach (PRN) to support adult clients in a residential treatment setting in South Miami, FL. Shifts include day 8am-8:15pm and overnight 7:45pm-8:45am, with a focus on recovery planning and engagement.

You will work closely with the clinical team to support clients, model healthy routines, assist with meals, and participate in therapeutic activities, contributing to individualized treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• 2+ years post-high school education.
• At least 1 year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, client relations, service orientation, flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their recovery journey in line with treatment plans.
• Provide intervention and support aligned with clinical goals.
• Encourage healthy connections among clients and staff in the milieu.
• Assist with food prep and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Facilitate exposure to therapeutic groups and teach core recovery skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide client observations.
• Occasionally transport clients to appointments and activities.

Monte Nido Miami, located in South Miami, FL is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• We require strong communication and client relations skills, service orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
