RI International in Durham, NC is seeking a Clinician II to develop a recovery service plan and provide recovery-oriented counseling to support individuals on their journey. You will orient clients to the program, assess needs, identify challenges, and help develop treatment goals in the recovery process.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work, and an active associate licensure in a behavioral health field along with state certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
• State professional certification where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Guest Care & Advocacy: Serve as the mental health professional for individuals until enrollment in services at another agency; conduct thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans; provide support and referrals; deliver recovery-oriented counseling and education; provide family education and counseling; facilitate recovery education courses.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Determine provisional diagnosis, obtain documentation of medical necessity, and submit authorizations; complete clinical documentation; file Incident Reports; stay updated on regulations and RI policies.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
