Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. in Eagan, MN seeks a warehouse associate to support order processing and physical material handling.

You will kneel, lift, scan, and load boxes up to 100 lbs, operate pallet jacks, and work with a handheld scanner in a 5-day, 9-hour schedule with a 30-minute lunch. Candidates must read/write English and wear protective footwear per ASTM standards for safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying boxes up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Able to load/move hand carts, pallet jacks and other material handling aids.
• Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 with slip resistance rating required.

Responsibilities

• Kneel, squat, reach, and bend repeatedly during shifts.
• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes weighing 24 lbs to 100+ lbs.
• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, and tapes.
• Operate hand carts, pallet jacks and ladder-friendly equipment.
• Read and write English to process incoming/outgoing orders.
• Use a proprietary system to track orders and locate boxes.
• Operate a handheld scanner and climb/balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts and load onto trucks.

Responsibilities

• Kneel, squat, reach, and bend forward frequently throughout shifts.
• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs.
• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and arrange boxes manually, and operate hand carts and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
• Operate a handheld scanner and climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts, and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
• Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best" is required.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
