Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Reconstruction Project Director to lead end-to-end reconstruction projects, owning scope, budget, margin, and client communications, while coordinating with field leadership to align execution with approved plans.

You will manage change orders, forecast revenue, and ensure profitable, compliant delivery and final invoicing, with a strong emphasis on risk management and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in construction and/or restoration project leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing project financials and customer relationships.
• Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, finalize, and manage scopes of work and estimates, including Xactimate documentation
• Own project budgets, margin performance, forecasting, and cost controls
• Review and approve change orders, supplements, and pricing adjustments
• Participate in Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews and revenue forecasting
• Ensure projects are prepared for final invoicing and successful closeout
