Job summary

Williams Auto Group is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Reconditioning Technician to maintain the appearance and presentation of our vehicle inventory while supporting daily dealership operations.

Responsibilities include detailing interiors/exteriors, waxing, inspecting for cosmetic issues, and ensuring showroom readiness. A background in automotive detailing is preferred; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing or reconditioning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented dealership environment.
• Comfortable with prolonged standing, bending, and physical activity.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Basic communication and math skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards.
• Wash, wax, buff, and restore vehicle surfaces.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, upholstery, and interior materials.
• Apply protective treatments to vinyl, leather, fabric, and tires.
• Clean engine compartments and vehicle components safely and effectively.
• Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, stains, or other cosmetic concerns.
• Perform touch-up work and replace small missing or defective parts when needed.
• Ensure showroom and automotive inventory remain clean and customer-ready.
• Install and remove window stickers and vehicle displays as needed.
• Fuel vehicles and maintain overall lot presentation.
• Operate automotive tools and detailing equipment safely.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and report concerns immediately.
• Drive vehicles safely on and off dealership property.
• Support the automotive team with additional duties as assigned.
