Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how to apply them.
• Experience leading and developing associates to improve performance.
• Proven ability to achieve project deliverables and company metrics.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training.
• Participate in development and execution of strategic plans with company alignment.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, procedures, and performance standards.
• Create a work environment that fosters communication, team cohesion, and Carvana values.
• Maintain supervisory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Ensure progression path training and certification processes are consistently executed.
• Train and mentor leads and associates with competency-based feedback.
• Ensure adequate production capacity levels for each line and assist with production planning.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and loss prevention guidelines.
