Job summary

Walser Automotive Group is seeking a detailer to perform routine maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles. You will conduct oil changes, bulb and filter replacements, and check fluid levels, brakes, tires, and other minor repairs across used vehicles.

Use diagnostic tools as needed and complete reconditioning start to finish, while adhering to safety policies. Candidates should be 18+, have a valid license, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Previous detailing experience preferred.
• Must be team oriented.
• Automotive degree and/or certification preferred.
• Ability to provide your own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes.
• Replace bulbs and air filters.
• Check fluid levels, brakes, tires and other minor repairs on all makes/models of used vehicles.
• Use diagnostic equipment (scan tools, TP tools, All data, A/C equipment) DVOM to diagnose issues.
• Make repairs to recondition cars start to finish.
• Follow all safety policies and protect company assets.
• Wear safety eyewear in Recon warehouse service departments and wear safety footwear as required.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.

Schedule: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do:

• Perform oil changes


• Replace bulbs and air filters


• Check fluid levels, brakes, tires , and other minor repairs on all makes and models of used vehicles


• Use necessary diagnostic equipment (scan tools, TP tools, All data , A/C equipment) DVOM, etc. to diagnose various no start, poor run, squeaks, rattles, front suspension, check engine lights or poor run conditions


• Make virtually all repairs needed to recondition cars start to finish


• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets


• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in Recon warehouse service departments


• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in Recon warehouse service departments


• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to bend, stoop, knell, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended period of time
