Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a Recip Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain gas reciprocating engine power generation packages across field sites. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in power generation, reciprocating engines, or related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical, control, and mechanical schematics and service manuals.
• Familiarity with SOPs, diagnostic tools, and maintenance documentation.
• Comfortable with customer interaction and working independently with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain gas reciprocating engine power generation packages and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine corrective maintenance on reciprocating generators and associated equipment.
• Monitor control panels, gauges, alarms, and instrumentation to ensure assets operate within parameters.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, starting, charging, fuel, ignition, sensor, and alarm issues using standard diagnostics and tools.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, service reports, and parts usage in management systems.
