• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the playground and lunch areas.
• Dismiss students and classes in a safe and orderly manner at scheduled times.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or other concerns to school administration promptly.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, and families as appropriate.
• Participate in required training and meetings related to student supervision and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal.

Position Summary

The Recess and Lunch Monitor is responsible for providing a safe, orderly, and positive environment for students during recess periods. The successful candidate will supervise students, encourage appropriate behavior, promote safe play, and assist in maintaining an organized cafeteria and playground environment.

Terms of Employment

• Part-time position following the school calendar.
• Hours and schedule as determined by the needs of the school (approx 3 hours per day)
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a CORI check and fingerprint-based background check.
