Job summary

Plano Community Unit School District #88 is seeking a Recess Aide for Centennial Elementary School in Illinois. The successful candidate will assist with supervising students during recess and supporting positive behavior.

Responsibilities include monitoring during outdoor and indoor recess, lunch, and as needed, clearly communicating expectations, and promptly reporting violations to the building principal. The role requires teamwork, discretion, and integrity.

• Share behavior expectations clearly with students.
• Enforce discipline regulations set forth in the student's handbook by reporting to the correct building principal promptly all violations.
• Demonstrate cooperation, courtesy and willingness to improve conditions and situations involving staff, parents and students.
• Attend work regularly, dress appropriately, be conscious of responsibilities, maintain confidentiality, and conduct tasks with integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
