Job summary

SCA Health in Poulsbo, WA is seeking a friendly Patient Services Clerk to welcome patients and visitors, answer calls, and manage intake.

You will register patients, verify identity, demographics, financial and insurance information, communicate with other departments, handle mail, record patient payments and deposits, keep the lobby tidy, verify sign-in, and prepare patient charts. A high school diploma and medical clerical experience are required; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years previous medical clerical experience.
• Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingual preferred

• Answer incoming calls to the facility

• Verify vendor and visitor sign in
