PACS is seeking a friendly receptionist to provide general administrative and clerical support in a post-acute healthcare setting. You will greet patients and visitors, answer calls, check in visitors, forward messages, schedule appointments, and maintain the reception area and sign-in logs.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred previous administrative or receptionist experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic confidentiality are essential.
Provide general administrative and clerical support. Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor. Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls. Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations; Inform other employees of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations. Maintain visitor sign in log. Handle incoming and outgoing mail Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings. Maintain and tidy the reception area. Perform other duties as assigned. Agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions and multiline phone system.
