A leading security services company is seeking a Security Receptionist in Jacksonville, Florida. The role requires excellent customer service and strong communication skills to effectively manage security and greet visitors. Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining records. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a Security Receptionist, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Receptionist plays a critical role in the overall security program and in the success of day-to-day operations. As first line of defense, they are tasked with making the first impression with guests, customers, and clients. The Security Receptionist reflects a professional demeanor and appearance to optimally highlight our customer’s brand. The position requires model customer service, strong communication skills to de-escalate conflicts, and the ability to handle stressful situations with critical thinking. The Security Receptionist must be technically competent, computer literate, able to answer inbound/outbound calls, recognize signs of intrusion, have strong observation skills, and remain calm under pressure. The role includes maintaining confidential information and enforcing security and safety regulations. The position requires administrative support of special events, facility operations, and security functions.
