Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado is seeking a Receptionist to be the first face visitors see and to support families in person and over the phone.
The role reports to the Assistant Director of Financial and Business Operations and involves answering phones, directing guests, and handling basic administrative duties. As ourReceptionist, you should feel comfortable being the first face our families see and the first person they speak with. You will be responsible for answering the phones and directing visiting families to where they need to go. As part of the ministry of theCatholic Church, you will be expected to conduct your work in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and teachings of the Church, and to support the work of Catholic cemeteries and funeral services inserving families with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Mt. Olivet Cemeterywas consecrated in 1892 and is located on the western side of the Denver Metro area in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It is the largest cemetery in Colorado containing 392 acres.St. Simeon Cemeterywas consecrated in 2004 and is located on the eastern side of the Denver Metro area in Aurora, Colorado. The Mortuary has two locations. The first is located on the grounds of Mt. Olivet Cemetery and was opened in 1981. The second was the recent acquisition of Caldwell-Kirk Mortuary. These entities serve the Catholic Community of the Denver metro area and its various parishes, missions, and apostolates and other members of the general public regardless of their religious affiliation.
