Job summary

Bridge Crest Post Acute in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and provide clerical support in the reception/administrative area. This role is limited to clerical duties with no clinical duties.

You will handle mail, schedule appointments, maintain logs, and keep the reception area neat, while protecting resident privacy and complying with confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and multiline phone system.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls.
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to destinations.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.
  • Maintain and tidy the reception area and sign-in log.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and maintain confidentiality.

Receptionist – Bridge Crest Post AcuteCompensation: $18–$22/hour (DOE)General PurposeThe primary purpose of your job position is to attend to and greet visitors and answer telephone. It is limited to clerical duties only and located and limited to the Reception/Administrative area. ***This position has no clinical involvement/duties of any kind***Essential Duties• Provide general administrative and clerical support.• Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor.• Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls.• Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations;• Inform other employees of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations.• Maintain visitor sign- in log.• Handle incoming and outgoing mail• Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.• Maintain and tidy the reception area.• Perform other duties as assigned.• Agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.Supervisory RequirementsThis position has no supervisor responsibilitiesQualificationEducation and/or ExperienceMust possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions and multiline phone system.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
