Job summary

Takeda in Tampa, FL is hiring a part-time Plasma Center Receptionist to greet donors, answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform administrative tasks to support center operations. You will provide friendly customer service to donors and staff, maintain orderly records, and help identify opportunities to improve center processes while following approved procedures.

The role requires standing for the shift, lifting light materials, and glove use due to exposure risks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a receptionist engaging with our donors and performing administrative tasks to support plasma center operations.

How you will contribute
  • You will answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
