Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a Receptionist to join a long-term care facility in Puget Sound. The role handles greeting visitors, answering phones, and performing clerical tasks to support facility operations and resident well-being.

The position is on-call with daytime schedule in a clinical setting. You’ll interact with residents, families and staff, maintaining confidential records and a welcoming front desk.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcoming visitors, residents, and staff, providing information and directing them as needed.
  • Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and ensuring prompt communication.
  • Answering questions about the facility, resident status, services, and general information.
  • Managing mail, packages, and deliveries; scheduling appointments; assisting with filing, data entry, and other light clerical duties.
  • Keeping accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and appointments, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area and contributing to a positive atmosphere.
  • Facilitating communication between residents, families, and staff, and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting with transportation scheduling, guest meal coordination, and other tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring all necessary information is up-to-date and readily available.
  • Other duties as assigned.
