Job summary

Supercuts is seeking a receptionist to support a fast-paced salon environment in Hermosa Beach. You will deliver exceptional guest service, assist with check-ins, and help market the salon while contributing to smooth daily operations.

The role requires multitasking, strong communication, and comfort with POS systems. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is important as the salon serves a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Help market and grow the business, provide excellent guest service, control expenses and complete all tasks required in the position.
• Provide excellent guest service during visits, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and support daily salon operations.
• Assist guests with check-in/out, scheduling, and service inquiries to ensure a positive experience.
• Operate and/or learn POS systems for efficient transactions and data entry.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for sustained periods of time

• Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing services


• Ability to observe guest’s hair, including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus


• Ability to communicate with guest regarding services offered and requested and the guest’s needs and wants
