Job summary

GEX Transport, an established carrier, is seeking Class A CDL drivers in Modesto, CA for regional and long-haul runs. Earn $1300–$1500 per week with paid orientation and mentor-led training.

Home time is balanced with two weeks on the road and regular home periods, depending on routes. Drivers must meet the minimum experience and safety requirements and maintain logs and compliant trip paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with a valid CDL Class A license.
• CDL school certificate with at least 120 hours.
• Clean MVR and background.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required inspections.
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Operate a Class A tractor trailer on long haul routes.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and driver managers.

Recent Graduates:

Paid Over‑the‑road training with a Driver Mentor and Paid Orientation.

Compensation:

$1300 to $1500 per week.

Average weekly miles:

2500 to 3200.

Home Time:

2 weeks Over‑the‑Road and 2 days at home.

Experienced Driver:

Must have 6 months of Over‑the‑road or regional experience to qualify for experienced driver.

Duties:

• Complete all required inspections.
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Operate a Class A tractor trailer on long haul routes.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:
