Job summary

The Fountain Groups is seeking a hands-on Biomedical Test technician to support testing of electronic components and assemblies. You will perform testing using automated test equipment and may assist with mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices.

Ideal candidates have academic lab or coursework experience with medical devices, familiarity with following procedures, and strong communication skills to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Academic lab / coursework / project exp with medical devices.
• Experience: medical device industry preferred—testing.
• Hands-on Biomedical Test technician role.

This role is a hands on Biomedical Test technician

Duties: Performs testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.

May perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices

Ability to read, comprehend and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.

Experience: medical device industry preferred... testing, electronic/ mechanical assembly experience

• Experience in troubleshooting equipment, building and or testing of electronic assemblies
• Working knowledge of IPC standards and use of complex tools and equipment specific to functional areas
• Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA controlled environments preferred
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
