Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety professional to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across design/build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection projects. The role focuses on coordinating safety activities, training, and ensuring OSHA compliance on sites.

  • Assist in implementing and distributing safety tailgate meetings.
  • Maintain record of signed safety tailgate meeting forms.

Job description

Position Summary

Our program is designed to introduce candidates to a career field of Occupational Health & Safety for the Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection industry. Primary responsibility is to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing and regulating all safety procedures to ensure that Southland Industries meets all safety requirements in the field and all facilities to better understand the management and coordination of all division safety activities and construction process.

Position Details

Pay

Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California this ranges from $76,000 – $84,000 yearly plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
