Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Receiving Utility associate to support receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for manufacturing operations. You will unload shipments, verify quantities, inspect items, and ensure accurate inventory records.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, teamwork, basic data entry skills, and safe operation of forklifts and other equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience or ability to become forklift certified.
• Basic computer/data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory systems; assist with cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Keep receiving, storage, and staging areas clean and organized; follow safety procedures.

This role ensures materials are accurately received, verified, inventoried, and delivered to designated locations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and unload incoming shipments of raw materials, parts, and supplies.Verify quantities and product information against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to leadership.Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.Transport materials to production and warehouse areas as needed.Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory systems.Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment activities.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.Keep receiving, storage, and staging areas clean and organized.Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.Assist with general warehouse and material handling tasks as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.Forklift experience or ability to become forklift certified.Basic computer and data entry skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.Equal Employment OpportunityMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
