Northern Tool + Equipment in Arlington, TX is seeking a Warehouse Receiver/Unloader to unload and stage incoming shipments in preparation for the Receiving and Putaway process.

You will verify bills of lading, follow SOPs for unloading, move pallets to designated areas, and keep work areas clean and safe. No prior experience required; high school diploma preferred.

Job description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

To unload and stage incoming shipments in preparation for the Receiving and Putaway process.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
  • Ensures information on bills of lading matches trailer and container to be unloaded.
  • Adheres to standard operating procedure for full pallet and container unloading.
  • Breaks down load and ensure like items are placed on appropriate pallet.
  • Transports completed pallets and bulk products to designated staging area ensuring correct placement of items.
  • Removes any debris from trailer and container.
  • Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
  • Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
