Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to join our Fulfillment Center network in Farmers Branch, TX. This role reports to the Inbound Manager and oversees the Receiving and Put Away teams, ensuring accurate check-in and proper storage while driving safety and process improvements.

You will lead staff, manage daily operations, monitor KPIs, and support peak periods with flexible hours. The job requires warehouse leadership experience, WMS/RF familiarity, and a commitment to high

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • Proven experience overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop associates to achieve departmental goals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily functions of the Receiving team to ensure all material is checked in and put away in its appropriate location in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase orders.
  • Ensure the receiving area is clean, safe, orderly, and functioning properly.
  • Lead shift start-up meetings and relay any staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound Manager.
  • Assign work to Receiving Associates.
  • Record and check the quantity and quality of products received.
  • Ensure POs are completed within the provided deadline.
  • Track the performance of each team member and provide consistent feedback regularly along with check-ins.
  • Ensure individual and departmental KPI success.
  • Conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the Receiving team in order to establish rapport and provide feedback.
  • Immediately address all personnel and performance related incidents that arise.
  • Ensure associates timecards are accurate and up to date.
  • Attend and participate in the HR Leadership meetings twice a month.
  • Execute all projects and process improvements developed in partnership with the Inbound Manager to support site growth.
  • All members of leadership are expected to lead by example and maintain professional standards in the workplace.

We are looking for a new Receiving Supervisor to join our growing Fulfillment Center network . This individual will report into our Inbound Manager and is responsible for the oversight, development, and accountability of the Receiving Team and Put Away Team. Job Type:Full-Time, Exempt

Location: 180,000 sq. ft. inFarmers Branch, TX at 12301 N. Stemmons Fwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234

Schedule: This role oversees an operation that runsSunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT and Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. CT(Saturdays run based on operational need). While this position generally follows a schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. CT, operational demands during peak and seasonal periods may require leaders to work additional hours beyond their regular schedule. Leaders are expected to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust their working hours as needed to support the business and their teams.

Salary: $65,400 – $ 81,750 per year

  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow process and standard procedures
  • Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
    • Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per da
