Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Receiving Specialist to help move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor and maintain an organized receiving area. You will assist with freight handling and support efficient store operations to keep shelves stocked and prices accurate.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, pricing and merchandising items, and communicating needs to Team Leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
