Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Receiving Specialist in New York to help move freight from delivery to the sales floor and support merchandising and stocking tasks.

You will participate in pricing, store recovery, and training of new Associates, while maintaining an organized receiving area and communicating needs to Team Leaders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Pay or shift range: $16.75 USD to $17.75 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.

This payrepresentsthe base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors.Associatewill not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has appliedin accordance withcity, county, and state requirements.
