Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is hiring for a Receiving Specialist in Selden, NY.

You will assist with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring freight handling, merchandising, and an organized receiving area to support efficient store operations. The role involves pricing, merchandising, store recovery, and training new Associates while maintaining strong communication with Team Leaders.

Qualifications

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associate will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.

New Hire Starting Pay: $17.75 - $18.75
