Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Receiving Specialist to assist customers and maintain store appearance. You will oversee customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance while handling freight from trucks to the sales floor.

Responsibilities include pricing, merchandising, training new associates, and communicating needs to Team Leaders. A positive, team-driven attitude is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays regularly.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
