Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. seeks a Texas-licensed Pharmacy Technician to support drug distribution, inventory management, and purchasing duties in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. You will enter orders, maintain stock, and ensure compliance with policies while supporting teammates.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods, with a schedule of 8am-4:30pm and rotating

Qualifications

  • Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Experience with Pharmacy purchasing, ordering or inventory management preferred.
  • Experience with Framework and/or ECM software preferred.
  • Reliable with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and position inventory up to 50 pounds or more, with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all drug distribution duties.
  • Receive orders from all vendors and correctly process into system.
  • Responsible for inventory, place orders, check drugs & supplies.
  • Enter medication orders in system accurately.
  • Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to ensure quality controls.
  • Support adherence policies for pharmacy standards.
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, if applicable and permitted by company policy.
Schedule
  • 8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
