Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the efficient operation of the receiving area, ensuring accurate, timely freight flow to the sales floor and maintaining back stock per the receiving area plan.

The role includes supervising associates, ensuring safety and merchandising standards, and serving as Manager on Duty to open or close the store as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while meeting strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage efficient freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Ensure accuracy of all incoming merchandise and assist with displays design and setup.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and perform store opening/closing duties as assigned.
