Moriroku-Technology-North-America- is seeking a full-time Materials Handler to support production through packaging, shipping, and inventory control at our Alabama facility.

You will move materials across the plant, stage components, use the kanban system, maintain 5S, and operate PPE and equipment safely. The role requires 1 year of logistics experience, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and willingness to work days, evenings, or weekends.

Formación

• 1 year experience in logistics or warehouse settings.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of production documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver correct packaging to production lines and store filled packaging.
• Unload, sort, stage, and load containers, totes, and racks.
• Maintain inventory control of materials, components, and finished goods.
• Operate packaging and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use kanban system to issue components lineside across the plant.
• Perform 5S housekeeping across the entire plant.
• Staging and shipping components and returnables to suppliers as needed.
• Repack components into finished goods for shipments and service shipments.
• Contribute to physical inventory activities and other duties as required.

Descripción del empleo

• Material handling for all production areas {Deliver correct packaging to production lines and store filled packaging in the warehouse}
• Shipping functions including unloading and sorting containers/totes/racks, loading, staging, etc.
• Inventory Control of materials, components and finished goods
• Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model)
• Repacking components into finished goods for shipments
• Repacking service components into finished goods service shipments
• Issue components lineside using the kanban system for the entire plant
• Maintain 5S for entire plant
• Willing to work in all areas of Logistics
• Unload/Receive components – product verification, scanning, stocking
• Staging/Shipping components and returnable containers to outsource suppliers in Receiving
• Physical Inventory activities
• Other duties as required

Qualifications/Skills:

• 1 year experience in logistics, warehouse, or material handling; automotive or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of production documentation.
• Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials.
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Ability to work and maneuver in tight spots and around potentially dangerous equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs.
• Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
