NetCost Market in Hewlett, NY is seeking a hands-on Receiving Manager to supervise inventory control, receiving and shipping operations, and to align daily tasks with store goals. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient handling of merchandise.

You will manage forklift-assisted handling, execute routine labor tasks, verify quality, process returns, and collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve billing inquiries while keeping records of transfers and vendor returns.

• Proficiency in mechanical skills.
• Experience with data entry for POs, inventory logs, safety reports, and other records.
• Familiarity with inventory software, tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid forklift certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Receiving Manager is a hands-on manager responsible for general supervision of inventory control, receiving, and shipping. • Capability to stand, walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.
