Responsibilities

• Manages receiving workflow to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.
• Manages receiving operation to ensure supervisors meet production schedules.
• Attends cross-functional meetings regarding new procedures or improvements to the current system.
• Interacts with product managers to improve the quality of the receiving process.
• Assists with vendor selection and workshops.
• Assists in resolving Accounts Payable discrepancies.
• Shares best practices with other CFCs.
• Monitors various reports, production statistics, REs, and error rates and takes corrective action.
• Promotes safe work practices.
• Interacts with shipping team to aid in reducing errors that leave the CFC.
• Assists with building security.
• Assists Goods-In Manager in budget preparation and compliance.
• Develops and supports supervisory goals regarding safety metrics.
• Provides resources for Global Safety initiatives.
• Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission.
• In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily reassigned to other warehouse functions.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Receiving Manager - Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (subject to vary based on business needs)

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages receiving workflow to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.
• Manages receiving operation to ensure supervisors meet production schedules.
• Attends cross-functional meetings regarding new procedures or improvements to the current system.
• Interacts with product managers to improve the quality of the receiving process.
• Assists with vendor selection and workshops.

• Monitors various reports, production statistics, REs (reasonable expectancies), and error rates and takes corrective action.
• Promotes safe work practices.
• Monitors and adheres to culture training policies and initiatives.
• Interacts with shipping team to aid in reducing the number of errors that leave the CFC.
• Assists with building security.
• Assists Goods-In Manager in budget preparation and compliance.
• Develops and supports supervisory goals regarding safety metrics.
• Provides resources for Global Safety initiatives.
• Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Associate's degree or the equivalent required.
• Five years of job-related experience, including three years of management experience, is required

SKILLS:

• Good working knowledge of the distribution process and good in/goods out process required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of computers and AS/400 system required.
• Basic computer literacy required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.
• Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required.
• Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Position may require a valid states driver's license.
• Position may require the ability to travel.

Compensation starting at $58,000 - $91,080 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
