Job summary

Walmart’s Sam’s Club facility in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an associate to maintain and process shipments, receive merchandise, and manage the receiving area in accordance with company policies. The role includes handling damaged goods, liquidation, and maintaining safety as per policies.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or plan to obtain within 30 days of entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and processes shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing to proper locations and paying expenses.
• Receives merchandise for the facility and maintains the Receiving area following company procedures and using equipment appropriately.
• Tracks and processes claims for damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining the clearance area and capturing required reporting.
• Maintains safety by following all safety standards, performing safety sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe conditions.
