Receiving Lead

Location: 9911 Woodend Rd, Edwardsville, KS 66111

WI100 Distribution Center

Full-time Shift(s):

1. Monday to Friday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm
2. Monday to Friday, 4:00am - 12:00pm

Overview

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team-oriented individuals for our fast-paced warehouse. As a Full-time Receiving Lead, you will facilitate the movement of products throughout our distribution center, verify incoming inventory, and prepare products for the next department. Fastenal is committed to environmental protection and providing a safe, healthy workplace, integrating EHS & Sustainability into all operations. This entry-level position is based at our distribution center and may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label products
• Unload products
• Inspect orders for accuracy and report discrepancies
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy
• Use scales to weigh products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Follow health, safety, and sustainability rules
• Participate in EHS activities and trainings

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, customer-service oriented
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently and in a team
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

• Pass drug screening (applicable in US, Puerto Rico, Guam)
