Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a team member to maintain and process shipments, organize receiving areas, and ensure accurate merchandise counts at the Bakersfield facility. You will develop delivery schedules, route merchandise, and verify documentation while adhering to company policies.

You will also handle damaged goods and claims, maintain the clearance area, and follow safety protocols. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and excellent service to members and associates.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and processes shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules.
• Compiles and organizes receiving reports and verifies merchandise counts.
• Routes merchandise to proper locations and pays expenses.
• Receives merchandise and organizes the Receiving area following procedures.
• Tracks and processes claims and handles damaged goods and liquidation.
• Maintains safety by following safety standards and conducting safety sweeps.
