Job summary

Marvins Building Materials Inc in Calera, AL is seeking a Receiver to ensure merchandise is unloaded safely, counted, and verified against purchase orders. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to operate the store's receiving area efficiently.

You will input data into the inventory control system, process RGAs, move items to the sales floor, and assist with front-end operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in receiving, forklifts, and service desk.
• Complete the HCI product knowledge course.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to count merchandise accurately and use data entry tools.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming merchandise against invoices or orders for quantity and damage.
• Data entry of merchandise received into the inventory control system.
• Process RGAs in a timely manner according to policy.
• Move merchandise onto the sales floor and prepare freight for shipping.
• Assist with register operations and customer service when needed.
• Maintain the receiving and RGA areas in an organized state.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
