Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet seeks a Receiver to join our distribution center team. You will sign bills of lading, verify case counts, and ensure accurate receipt of merchandise.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Commitment to safety and orderly, efficient operations is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work.
• Ability to prioritize work and plan movements ahead to maximize productivity.
• Efficient planning, prioritization and execution of detailed instructions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count cases and pallets of product when received.
• Provide visual and physical case pack check.
• Provide signatures for bills of lading and receipts at the Distribution Center.
• Ensure received product matches packing slips.
• Mark material with identifying information as needed.
• Direct Freight Handlers for proper product allocation.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area free of debris.
• Maintain efficiency and productivity as designated by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
