Job summary

McLendon Hardware Puyallup is hiring a Full-Time Receiver to efficiently receive and secure incoming freight. You will log shipments, verify contents, and organize products under supervision.

Responsibilities include checking in freight, labeling items, and maintaining clear communication with the Receiving & Inventory Lead. Forklift experience and dependable attendance are valued qualities.

Qualifications

• One year prior receiving or retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Detail oriented, positive, and a quick learner.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs for majority of the shift.
• Able to read and write English and have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming shipments; organize product in receiving per lead's direction.
• Check in freight using RF Gun or by hand; identify discrepancies and report to Lead.
• Label incoming products missing pricing/UPC labels as needed.
• Communicate with Lead and Receivers about ongoing tasks.
