Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Receiving Technician I to help manage intake of medications and supplies in a fast-paced mail-order environment. You will work closely with the Receiving Technician II to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper handling of all incoming inventory.

The role involves supporting picking, packing, and shipping, performing inventory updates, and maintaining clean, compliant receiving areas while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ,
• 1–2 years of receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with regulated processes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Reading/writing/speaking English required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
• Inspect products for damage, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Assist with intake procedures for prescription medications and regulated products.
• Enter and update inventory in systems.
• Label, sort, and stock inventory in appropriate storage areas.
• Support picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate orders.
• Follow pharmacy regulations and SOPs.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams.
