VETERINARY SERVICE INC in St. Joseph, MN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive shipments, verify contents, and restock shelves in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform cycle counts, ensure FIFO, pack and label for shipment, and coordinate with purchasing, sales, and accounting to keep inventory accurate. A high school diploma is required, and forklift certification is encouraged. Hours: typical Mon-Fri with possible variation.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, the associate will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying product accuracy, putting away product, and restocking shelves. The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, which allows members to flex responsibilities between departments to improve the efficiency of the warehouse at the direction of their direct supervisor.

Requires a high school diploma with courses in math, computer operations, and customer service procedures. Requires one/two years’ experience in shipping environment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets. Ability to write business correspondence via email. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to operate a computer, ability to become fork-lift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus. Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands/ fingers to handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds up to waist level. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
Forklift, stretch wrap machine, IPOD, Box knife, push cart, hand jack, two wheel cart, tape gun, and computer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moderate cold/heat conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually mid-level to loud.
