Job summary

WIKA Group is seeking an Inventory/Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations in Pasadena, TX. You will receive, unload, and store incoming inventory, verify quantities, and ensure documentation aligns with purchase orders and specifications.

You will perform PMI verification, inspect dimensions of parts, and communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Daily cycle counts and material traceability are part of the role, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Inventory or Receiving role preferred.
  • Well-developed personal communication skills required.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in proper locations.
  • Verify QTY and goods received match purchase orders and specifications; notify purchasing of discrepancies.
  • Perform PMI verification and verify dimensions of mechanical parts as needed.
  • Create material codes and upload certificates; maintain and scan records in the system.
  • Communicate with vendors, engineers, and quality teams regarding testing and nonconformance issues.
  • Operate forklift to unload trucks and perform daily cycle counts.

  • Receives, unloads, and places incoming inventory items appropriately in the proper location.Reads product requirements, work orders, quality orders, drawings to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
  • Performs PMI verification to ensure applicable received material meets requirements.
  • Verifies dimensions of a wide variety of mechanical parts.
  • Compares results with specifications and records test data. Communicates with vendors about issues with missing documents, nonconforming material, and vendor returns.
  • Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause and failure.
  • Issues non-conformance reports as necessary.
  • Confers with Engineers, technicians, production personnel and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.
  • Operates forklift to unload trucks as needed.

Your profile
