Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts (Uxbridge) is seeking a Receiving Forklift Operator to load, unload and segregate pallets using pallet sorting machinery and forklift techniques. You will support crossdock and receiving areas, ensuring accurate receiving of trailers and proper merchandise handling.

This role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, standing, bending, and operating powered equipment in a warehouse environment with heat, cold, noise, and dust. Benefits and weekly pay apply.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and segregate pallets using Pallet Sorting machine and forklift techniques.
• Assist crossdock and receiving areas as needed.
• Receive and unload trailers accurately and manage merchandise handling.
• Build and stretch wrap pallets for shipping.
• Shuttle merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound storage freight.
• Sort and distribute pallets for warehouse use.

The responsibility of the Receiving Forklift Operator is to load, unload and segregation of pallets utilizing Pallet Sorting machine and appropriate forklift techniques. Assisting the crossdock and receiving areas when necessary. Accurately receiving and unloading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas Loading of product into shipping trailers Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $24.60
